Live From MerbCamp!
If you couldn’t make it down to San Diego for MerbCamp, and you couldn’t join us via live streaming on the web, you’ve missed out – you’re still missing out!
Day 1 went off without a hitch; Engine Yard developers Ezra Zygmuntowicz, Yehuda Katz, Carl Lerche and Daniel Neighman all gave excellent talks, and our very own Andy Delcambre pitched in as the event photographer. The IRC channel was hopping, with remote participants joining even the Q&A sessions, and a live feed from the MerbCamp Outpost in London streamed in the common and lunch areas.
Lunch was great, but dinner was even better; a twilight BBQ on the beach, complete with Frisbee playing, dog walking and the ever-present chit chat of excited programmers.
It’s Day 2, and we’re about to break for lunch; soon the Merb core team takes the stage for an interactive panel, and we’ll finish the day with a closing keynote by Yehuda, talking about the direction and future of Merb.
Take a peek at the live webcast; we’d love to have you!
