Engine Yard Cloud Out Loud S01E07: Who is Carl?

The Ruby community has heard of Carlhuda, but do we know the individuals who, when their powers combine, summon Rails’ greatest champion Carlhuda? (Yes, that was a Captain Planet reference).

We met with Carl Lerche after he presented at the SF Ruby Meetup. We talked with him about what he’s been working on at Strobe, the differences between using RVM gemsets and Bundler, and why he decided to try out using JRuby. We also get to the bottom of the genesis of Carlhuda, as well as the Janus MacVim Distro.
