Launching the Columbia, SC PHP User Group at POSSCON
We are so happy to be helping the Columbia, South Carolina PHP enthusiasts gather together for an inaugural meeting of their user group during POSSCON (March 28-29). We will be meeting together during a lunchtime BOF session on March 29, and we really hope you can join us.
If you’re not familiar with POSSCON (Palmetto Open Source Conference) and you’re local to the area, then you should definitely come check it out. It’s a unique open source conference in that it has specific tracks for Government, Healthcare, Education, Business and Developers, so you get a really interesting mix of attendees. There’s a little something for everyone here, and it’s great to see how open source is solving problems across sectors.
We’ll be sponsoring the Welcome and ending socials, in addition to the BOF session. If you’ll be there, be sure and come say hello!
Also, if you have an interest in starting a PHP User Group in your area, or if you’ve recently started one and would like some help, then let me know! I would love to help you kick things off.
