PDX Drinkup Tonight!

Portland area developers, we’re excited to invite you over to the Engine Yard PDX offices__tonight__for drinks from 6-8pm. We’ll have lots of tasty beverages and snacks, as well as great company, with the likes of our engineering lead Amy Woodward, marathoner extraordinaire Matt Whiteley and marketing guru Mark Gaydos, among many more. Afterward, we’ll be heading over to the GitHub drinkup (8pm and on) which is conveniently stumbling distance from the office. For more information, check this out.

We’ll be sponsoring and attending BarCamp PDX - Friday evening and Saturday. BarCamp is a great workshop-like event with content generated entirely by its participants. Topics often focus on but are not limited to early-stage web applications, and related open source technologies, social protocols, open data formats and other DIY/hacker/open culture themes. We will also be hosting the PDX Women Who Hack on Sunday afternoon. Women Who Hack is an awesome organization for women of all programming experience levels who just want to hack on projects together. All languages and platforms are welcome.
